FLIGHT INSTRUCTION:
The Flight School is proud to be part of the Golden Age of Aviation. As a part of Roadhouse Aviation, we try everyday to give people a taste of the good old days when service and quality were primary. We maintain a fleet of aircraft that people enjoy flying and we love to help people have a great aviation experience. With the standardization of a Part 141 institution and the flexibility of a Part 61 flight school, our goal is not only to train pilots, but to be the place people like to be just to enjoy aviation together. So whether your goals are a career track to the airlines or you just like hangar flying, The Flight School can help you meet those goals.
On May 15th, The Flight School will be participating in the National Learn to Fly Day. We will be conducting Learn to Fly seminars at 10:00 and 15:00, offering $60.00 intro flights and hamburgers from 11:00 to 14:00. You can register online at http://www.learntoflyday.com/flightschools/oklahoma/.
The start date for the next private pilot ground school will be June 7. If you are interested in attending, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can reserve a seat for you. The classes will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:00PM to 9:00PM for four weeks. For our pilots just starting, this is a great time to start your ground school. For those that have already attended once and have not received their private and just want a refresher, feel free to join up, but I still need to reserve you a seat. New this month to our fleet this month is N724PG, a Cessna 172SP. We hope that this will make scheduling easier and availability greater. Come check it out!
The Flight School is still trying to conduct a high-altitude endorsement class. It will be held on a Saturday and begin at 8:00 AM and finish around 5:00 PM. The class will consist of about 4 hours of ground training, about 1.5 to 2 hours of flight time in TTC's hyperbaric chamber where you will experience a rapid decompression and hypoxia, and about 1 hour of quick-don mask training in a grounded Sabreliner. If you are interested in attending this class, please e-mail me at mschield@thefltschool.com and I will add your name to the list of applicants. We will require a minimum of 10 applicants before we can schedule with TTC. We are hoping to schedule this for a Saturday in April and it will cost $200.00.

The Flight School has had many new and exciting changes! We have developed a new site, a new name and developed a new logo. We, sadly, have lost the Citabria, but have gained a Piper PA-44 Seminole, a light multi-engine trainer. The Flight School is actively pursuing a degree program for our degree-seeking students, as well as working on acquiring a Piper Cherokee, Cirrus SR-22, and another tail-dragger for our Aviation Enthusiasts.
