TRAINING COURSES:

We offer training in all areas of flight instruction, including Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII, and Multi-Engine. As our fleet grows, many other options become available as well. All courses include aircraft rental, flight and ground instruction, ground class, books, check-ride, and other charges. Below you will find specifics about each of the major Certificates we teach. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. If you're not quite sure if flying is for you, consider taking an Intro Flight today for $79. This is not just a sight-seeing trip. We'll take you up and show you the basics of flying and give you a taste of what flight training is like.

The prices listed below are averages and fluctuate depending upon fuel prices, suppliers and student progress.

Private Pilot Certificate

Current FAA Regulations dictate minimum hour requirements for a candidate to receive a Private Pilot Certificate. They are 40 Hours of flight time including a minimum of 20 hours of instruction and at least 10 hours of solo flight time. The current national average is 71 hours. Instrument Rating

The instrument Rating Course is a very complex series of ground and flight lessons. The IFR world is very different from the VFR activity we are used to. We approach this complexity with a very structured series of flight sessions which will teach you to the standard and  requirements dictated by 14 CFR 61.65, which indicate that a minimum of 40 hours of instrument time (actual or simulated) must be completed by the applicant. We use this 40 hour requirement as the basis for our training.  As is with the Private Pilot course we quote it at 50 hours and do all we can to assist you in meeting this goal.
