The FAA requirements for a Commercial Pilot include:
- Hold at least a Private Pilot License
- Pass the FAA Commercial Knowledge Test
- Obtain at least a second-class medical
- Have logged at least 250 hours of flight time as a pilot
- Pass the FAA practical test
All costs are approximations and not guaranteed. As some of our aircraft feature wet rates and others feature dry rates, course costs can vary widely. Although the FAA minimums may be met, it may take some students extra hours to fully understand some concepts. Because of that our programs incorporate a 10 hour buffer in both the aircraft rental and the flight instruction.
